Description
I was originally going to call this "Funeral March of the Poke-marionettes", but I'd already made a painting titled "Funeral March of the Mexican Marionette" for a school assignment, and decided that I'd made enough art of funeral-marching marionettes.
I honestly don't know what I was thinking when I painted this, and even until now I have no idea what it means. Are they puppets or the real things? But the Staraptor looks too tangled up to be a puppet. If they're real, Staraptor and Froslass look lifeless. Are they dead? The Roselia looks like he's the only one who's alive, but his expression isn't that reassuring at all, is it?
Oh ambiguity~!

Ambiguityyyyyyy
I love the shading on Froslass, though. XD
Now that I think about it more, Froslass kind of looks like one of those little ghost thingies on strings that people would hang at their doors to keep away evil spirits. I think it was ancient Japan. (or maybe it's still done, I don't know) I know I saw some in a video game once that took place then (Okami.)
